Apple pie oatmeal

4 cups water
2 cups rolled oats
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 pint canned apples (or fresh apples, cooked)

Combine water in oats in saucepan and turn on heat. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer until done.

Serves 4–5
